Kevin Bryant is Managing Director, US Public Entity Practice Leader at Marsh. He is responsible for the operational, colleague, client and market excellence for the Marsh US Public Entity Practice. Kevin ensures that state and local government and not-for-profit clients across the U.S. receive public sector expertise, insights, and transactional services. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the insurance brokerage industry, with particular expertise in assisting clients — including nonprofits and public entities — with property, casualty and employee benefit strategies with an emphasis on cost containment. He began his career with Mass Mutual and achieved Life Member status for the prestigious Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT), an international, independent association of the world’s most successful life insurance and financial services professionals. MDRT Life membership is recognized internationally as the highest standard of sales excellence in the life insurance and financial services industry. Kevin was the first dual winner of Mass Mutual’s Calbert L. Dings and Philip Howerton Awards. The Howerton award recognized the top senior Mass Mutual career agent in North and South Carolina. The Dings Award recognizes the top junior Mass Mutual career agent in North and South Carolina.
Kevin then created and built Marsh McLennan’s first South Carolina based employee benefits practice to serve clients in the Southeast. He then became Mercer’s Market, Sales and Business Leader for South Carolina where he managed over 25 consultants, analysts and client representatives.
Kevin joined Aon in 2007 for the opportunity to build Aon’s first organic office in the firm’s history. While at Aon, Kevin won 5 Aon Pinnacle Awards which are allotted to the top performing Aon offices in the US. As Resident Managing Director and Executive Relationship Leader for large complex clients. Kevin then resided within Aon’s prestigious Elite Producers Council which was an initiative of Aon’s Operating Committee to accelerate growth and client value. Kevin was one of only 20 US individuals selected to reside within Aon’s Elite Council. Aon has in excess of 20,000 US employees. Because of his exceptional sales acumen, Kevin also was a leader within the “Delivering Aon United” model to support enterprise wide growth within Financial Institutions, particularly with the Professional Services Group (PSG). PSG focuses on client solutions to accounting firms, law firms and design firms. Kevin successfully led large new and expanded growth initiatives with the world’s leading accounting firms and the nation’s leading non-bank consumer financial services firms firmly uniting Aon’s market share leadership.

Kevin’s greatest accomplishment is marrying his lovely wife of 30 years, Mitzi Bryant. They have two children and Kevin’s professional and career influence is seen in his children as both followed in his footsteps and have flourishing careers in the insurance brokerage industry. His daughter works for HUB and his son works for McGriff
